Homelessness
Educate your students on homelessness in Australia.
Our Homelessness Teaching Resources
At St Vincent de Paul QLD, we have created these National Australian Curriculum resources for schools to help students learn about homelessness in Australia.
These Curriculum resources were created for teachers, to help them discuss homelessness in the classroom. Students will learn about homelessness both in Australia and globally, including St Vincent de Paul QLD’s response to the issue.
What The Homelessness Teaching Resources Include
You can access our school resources, including a Fact Book and Curriculum Map about homelessness and a series of activities for students in Grades 5 to 10. These activities can be printed or completed electronically.
For most social justice subjects, we also have A Teacher’s Guide to support the activities. If a guide is not available, this is because the students’ responses will be more subjective or creative.
