Advance Notice: Election of 19th National President
Mr Mark Gaetani, the 18th National President of St Vincent de Paul Society in Australia, has announced his intention for an election of the 19th National President to take place on Saturday 7 November 2026. (The Rule Part III, Article 24)
World Day of Migrants and Refugees
Ahead of the 112th World Day of Migrants and Refugees on Sunday 27 September, the St Vincent de Paul Society is calling on Australians to uphold the dignity, safety and belonging of every migrant and refugee child. Reflecting Pope Leo XIV’s message, “Even Just One of These Children,” the Society urges communities and governments to respond with compassion, practical support and a genuine welcome so that no child is overlooked or left behind.
