Safeguarding children and adults at risk

National Council has zero tolerance for any form of harm or abuse.

Everyone deserves protection, no matter their age, gender, background, beliefs, or abilities.

Keeping people safe is National Council's top priority.  National Council commits to keeping all children and adults at risk safe when they connect with the Society.

Trust and respect are at the heart of what we do, and children and adults at risk should have a say in decisions that affect them.

National Council follows the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations and National Catholic Safeguarding Standards.

All National Council representatives are required by law to report any reasonable belief that a child is, or will be, at risk of harm.

If you or another person is at risk of immediate harm, please dial 000 in Australia or notify local police.

Are you concerned about a young person or adult at risk?
