The St Vincent de Paul Society National Council of Australia has zero tolerance for any form of abuse, harm, neglect or exploitation.
Serving some of the most vulnerable people in communities through relationships of trust and respect is at the heart of the Society’s mission. By prioritising the safety and wellbeing of children and adults at risk, National Council commits to:

fostering a positive culture of safeguarding within the organisation
implementing the National Catholic Safeguarding Standards and National Principles for Child Safe Organisations
maintaining and managing policies and procedures that build a strong culture of safeguarding
responding compassionately, promptly and appropriately to all safeguarding concerns or disclosures
continuously improving practices in line with current legislation, feedback and guided standards of excellence.
