Queensland faces its fair share of natural disasters – from floods and bushfires to cyclones and drought. At St Vincent de Paul QLD, we can provide you with Disaster Recovery Support and help you and your family recover from the wake of a natural disaster.
Hundreds of local communities like yours are seeing an increase in the severity and frequency of disaster events. We know that these events can be unpredictable, devastating, and worrying. That’s why our vast Queensland Member network is here for you, and can offer ongoing financial, in-kind, and emotional support.
In the past, we have provided a variety of support to victims of disaster such as food, clothing, financial, and more; though the support may vary depending on the disaster.

SVDPQLD is providing ongoing support to people and communities impacted by the floods in South East QLD during February and May 2022. SVDP QLD provided vouchers to assist with the cost of essential items for those who were immediately displaced, and continue to work with agencies to identify and respond to structural claims.
