A Vinnies CEO Sleepout Ambassador and Member of the Commercial Advisory Committee in South Australia, Clinton Jury took up the reins as new CEO of the St Vincent de Paul Society SA on Monday 13 October.

Clinton joins the Society from his most recent role as CEO of the Local Government Association of SA, where he oversaw a wide range of complex operations across all 68 SA councils.

He brings more than 30 years of senior leadership experience across some of Australia’s most respected purpose-driven and member-based organisations, including the Australian Red Cross and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Clinton comes with a deep personal commitment to serving the community, which includes a strong connection to Vinnies SA.

‘Having been involved with Vinnies SA as a CEO Sleepout Ambassador and Member of the Commercial Advisory Committee, I am excited by the opportunity to contribute more deeply to the Society’s mission of supporting our Companions and fostering a just and compassionate community,’ said Clinton.

‘I’m deeply committed to the mission of Vinnies and excited by the opportunity to grow our reach and further strengthen our legacy of compassion and justice.’

St Vincent de Paul Society SA State President Geraldine Hawkes said the appointment reflects the Society’s commitment to strong and compassionate leadership.

‘Clinton brings a rare combination of vision, experience and heart,’ said Geraldine. ‘He has demonstrated time and again his ability to deliver meaningful outcomes for communities, and we are thrilled to welcome him to the Society.

‘Under his leadership, we look forward to strengthening our mission and extending our impact for South Australians experiencing disadvantage.’
