Project 1.4 & 1.5 - Leadership Development

These two projects have been combined into one 'super-group'.

Pillar outcome: A new Member journey (including into leadership)

Progress for 1.4 & 1.5

Three documents have been finalised:

  1. A handover template for Conference Presidents has been prepared, trialled, refined and approved;
  2. A generic Position Description for Conference Presidents has been approved; and
  3. A leadership development guide has been approved.

    Please contact either the Membership Staff in your State or Territory or the National Council Secretariate if you would like any of the above documents: congress@svdp.org.au

    The Project Team is now focussed on looking at what types of leadership training are used in each State and Territory, with a view to developing a proposal for a tiered training package. Tiered in this context means identifying training options best suited to Conference Presidents (tier 1), or Regional / Central Presidents (tier 2), or those in Higher Councils (tier 3).
