Progressing Congress Outcomes

Information for Delegates to Congress and Society Members on the progress being made with implementation of the Congress outcomes.

Congress 2023+ welcomed 202 representatives to Sydney in October 2023, marking a pivotal event for the Society in Australia. Inspired by the Emmaus Story, it emphasised transformation, renewal, and the journey towards a revitalised mission. The three-day event focussed on identifying challenges and generating ideas for change.

Key achievements included the Vision and Roadmap for change, identifying 15 project action areas across three core pillars: growth & revitalisation, diverse conference models, and readiness for change. These action areas emphasised inclusivity, leadership development, flexible formats, enhanced communication and collective engagement.

These are represented in the framework below, which is also available as a pdf file.
