Fundraise
There are many ways you, your organisation or your school can fundraise to help people in need.
How fundraising helps
Over 5,000 people turn to St Vincent de Paul Society every day for assistance. This is why all efforts to fundraise are a massive help in ensuring all those in need are able to be supported. Whether it is you, your organisation, or your school, there are endless ways you can start fundraising to support the work we do.
If you are looking to start your own fundraising activities, reach out to the St Vincent de Paul Society in your state to register your event (links below).
Fundraising at the St Vincent de Paul Society happens through appeals or major fundraising events. The key appeals are our tax appeal and our winter appeal, with various states having additional shoulder appeals to support.
We also fundraise through major events such as the CEO Sleepout.
Through your
- Provide food for a family that would otherwise go hungry
- Pay for school supplies or excursion fees so a child doesn’t have to miss out on an education
- Make sure someone has a warm bed for a night in one of our crisis accommodation services
- Pay the power bill for a family struggling to make ends meet
- Cover the costs of a basic computer skills course at TAFE to help someone upskill and gain employment.
Your generous support enables our members, volunteers and staff to provide the right assistance at the right time to people who need it most.
