There are many ways, you, your organisation or your school can fundraise to help people in need.

How fundraising helps

The Society and its Good Works rely on the generosity of the community to continue providing much-needed support to those experiencing hardship.

Your fundraising efforts go a long way in changing lives and combatting poverty and homelessness in Queensland.

Every dollar you raise helps support your local community and contributes to making a difference. By keeping your donations local, you play a vital role in caring for people in need right where you live.

Fundraising with St Vincent de Paul QLD is inclusive and accessible to everyone, regardless of age, location, or event size. With a variety of ways to support, you can find the perfect fundraising opportunity that suits you.

Ways to Fundraise

Corporate Partnerships

We welcome businesses to become corporate sponsors and partners to help us in our mission to alleviate poverty and homelessness.

Organise a community event or fundraise for your local volunteer group (Conference) to keep the support within your community. From morning teas, luncheons, and golf days to barbecues, raffles, and trivia nights, there are endless possibilities to create memorable fundraising events.

Instead of gifts, ask for donations on special occasions, or challenge yourself to do something active by engaging in your favourite activity while raising funds.

Support your local volunteer group by collecting non-perishable foods, blankets, toiletries, and other essential items. Your donations will provide emergency relief to individuals and families in need, especially during crucial times like winter and Christmas.

Take up collections at your school, workplace, or community group to make a direct impact in your local community.
