What are Vinnies Shops?

Vinnies Shops are the most visible face of the St Vincent de Paul Society – located throughout Western Australia funds raised through the shops help support programs and services which assist people in need.

Vinnies Shops provide a wide range of clothing, books, collectables, manchester, bric-a-brac and furniture (furniture not available in all shops) to offer support through Home Visitation and also provide a well priced quality shopping alternative to the community. Vinnies Shops rely on donated goods from the community.

Who can access Vinnies Shops?

Anyone can access Vinnies Shops to purchase pre-loved items at very reasonable prices.

People in need can phone the Metropolitan Call Centre on 1300 794 054 or email callcentre@svdpwa.org.au for assistance. Regional areas have individual support numbers to assist people in need in their local area – please visit the Emergency Relief & Home Visitation Program page for these details.

How can I support the Vinnies Shops?

Opportunities to support Vinnies Shops include:

Donate your pre-loved items. There are three ways you can donate goods to Vinnies:

1. Drop off your clothing, bric-a-brac, books and manchester at your local Vinnies Shops and browse at the same time.
2. Domestic Collections - Call (08) 6323 7520 for free home or office pick up of larger items.
3. Clothing Bins - look for them in convenient locations throughout WA.

Volunteer at a Vinnies Shop. Volunteers are integral to the work of Vinnies Shops but they also provide an opportunity to make friends, give back to the community, learn new skills or gain work experience and development. To become a volunteer, please phone (08) 6323 7500 or email volunteer@svdpwa.org.au.
