Everyone deserves the basic dignity of putting food on the table every day. However, many Australians are struggling with food insecurity due to the rising cost of living. In the past financial year 9 out of 10 people who turned to Vinnies WA for help, were given food assistance.

Jason, a dedicated father of two teenagers, found his life take an unexpected turn when he became a full-time caregiver for his seriously ill wife. Although Jason skilfully navigated their tight budget to ensure they could get by, the cost of living crisis threw his careful planning into turmoil.
