This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with young people and is committed to making a positive difference in the life of others. Our hubs are often the first step off the street for young people with complex needs – we work to build relationships with young people by offering practical assistance and support, whilst identifying longer term needs and issues.
- Permanent full-time
- 76 hours per fortnight (Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm)
- Work out of our hub in Perth, occasional work at our PYEH Peel service may be required.
You will be responsible for the delivery of Vinnies' people and performance strategy and driving initiatives that builds capability and leadership whilst ensuring consistent and compliant operational excellence and a positive employee experience. This role is a trusted member of our senior leadership team and provides pragmatic advice and guidance to various internal stakeholders.

The Impact Officer plays a key role in strengthening Vinnies WA’s ability to understand, measure, and enhance the difference it makes in the community. Working within the organisation’s Impact Team, the role supports the development and use of frameworks, tools, and systems that ensure meaningful data is captured, analysed, and translated into actionable insights.

Vinnies Housing Plus provides a variety of medium-term housing options in the greater Perth and Mandurah area for families and young people who face barriers accessing housing and are willing to engage and have the capacity to meet tenancy responsibilities.
Reporting to Manager, Housing Plus the Housing Officer is responsible for the day to day provision of tenancy and property support including inspections, maintenance coordination, record management, data entry and other housing related activities.
This is a dynamic role with no two days the same. Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring that all units are maintained in a cost-effective, safe and habitable condition to support excellence in service delivery for residents as per budget requirements
- Coordinating maintenance requests and supports the implementation of scheduled and long-term maintenance programs to provide a safe and compliant environment.
- Effectively manage rent and other receivables for the units in the portfolio.
