An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and enthusiastic Support Worker who wants to make a positive impact in our community and join our Specialist Community Services (SCS) team. Based at our Tom Fisher House facility in Highgate, this position provide an opportunity to work closely with disadvantaged members of society, specifically those whom experience homelessness or at risk of homelessness.
Our Support Workers at TFH work from a rotating roster; this includes weekday and weekend shifts.

The Support Worker plays a critical role in the delivery of our service. You will be supported by senior staff within TFH and the wider Specialist Community Services team.

You’ll be working with thrifted fashion, visual merchandising and making a difference, with all Vinnies shop profits crucial in funding our support for over 55,000 West Australians every year.

The Impact Officer plays a key role in strengthening Vinnies WA’s ability to understand, measure, and enhance the difference it makes in the community. Working within the organisation’s Impact Team, the role supports the development and use of frameworks, tools, and systems that ensure meaningful data is captured, analysed, and translated into actionable insights.

Vinnies Housing Plus provides a variety of medium-term housing options in the greater Perth and Mandurah area for families and young people who face barriers accessing housing and are willing to engage and have the capacity to meet tenancy responsibilities.
Reporting to Manager, Housing Plus the Housing Officer is responsible for the day to day provision of tenancy and property support including inspections, maintenance coordination, record management, data entry and other housing related activities.
This is a dynamic role with no two days the same. Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring that all units are maintained in a cost-effective, safe and habitable condition to support excellence in service delivery for residents as per budget requirements
- Coordinating maintenance requests and supports the implementation of scheduled and long-term maintenance programs to provide a safe and compliant environment.
- Effectively manage rent and other receivables for the units in the portfolio.
We have an exciting opportunity to join the Vinnies retail team as a Retail Team Leader in the South West region.
As a Retail Team Leader, you’ll oversee daily operations, ensure great customer service, maintain stock and merchandising standards, support our amazing volunteers, and champion a safe, welcoming environment - all in line with Vinnies policies.
- Permanent Part-time position (38 hours per fortnight)
- Curating fashion for a personalised experience in our thriving Margaret River store
- Supervising, training and supporting a dedicated team of Volunteers
- Supporting the Retail Manager to achieve exceptional outcomes for the store
- Processing high volumes of donated stock
