Ozanam Leadership Program
Helping Year 10 and 11 students to become compassionate leaders in their community.
About Our Ozanam Leadership Program
At St Vincent de Paul QLD, we run the Ozanam Leadership Program to give Year 10 and 11 students the chance to become compassionate leaders within their own community. The Ozanam Leadership Program is values and skills-based and encourages students to develop their own knowledge and skills that will add value to their community.
This Vinnies Youth program comprises of four key components:
- a three-day outdoor retreat,
- leadership development sessions,
- advocacy events; and
- volunteering opportunities with Vinnies Youth.
The program is underpinned by the Society’s values, mission and our call to put faith into action.
Who is Eligible?
The Ozanam Leadership Program is open to students in Years 10 and 11 and takes place in Terms 2 and 3.
Information about the program is sent out to schools during Term 1, and students in Years 10 and 11 are invited to apply. Students must complete an application form and submit a teacher recommendation as part of their application.
