Our Family Intervention Service is a primary intervention service that works with families whom are referred to us from Child Safety Services.

Family Back on Track Supported Housing Integrated Program
Our Family Back on Track program offers supported, transitional accommodation for families with children who are experiencing homelessness or are at risk of homelessness.
Are You Eligible?
Eligibility for Family Intervention Service is determined by Child Safety Services, as it is a service available to support clients of Child Safety Service Centres (CSSC).
FIS is a statutory service which means we cannot accept self-referrals for this service.

Are You Eligible?
To be eligible:
- Children must be living in one of the service locations,
- Parents/carers of Children must not be subject to any order from Child Safety Services.

Are You Eligible?
To be eligible, you must:
- be working towards reunification, or
- have care arrangements with the children involved.

Are You Eligible?
To be eligible for Family Back on Track, you must:
- have custody of a child (aged 0-17),
- not be currently under any active investigation, order, or parenting agreement with the Department
- be at risk of homelessness or at imminent risk of homelessness
- reside in the local government area of Gold Coast
