Our youth programs include:
A Youth & Young Adult Conference is a group of passionate young people aged 16 to 35 who make a difference in their community by working on social justice issues and putting their faith into action.
A young adult conference has between 6 to 15 members and meet once or twice a fortnight.
The St Vincent de Paul Society’s Buddy Programs are a free community program to give children a fun day out. Young people can volunteer to be a big buddy to a younger child for the day to make sure the activities are a safe, fun learning experience.
These events focus on growing children’s self-esteem, sense of belonging and resilience.
Soccer Stars focuses on developing friendships, providing positive role models, team building, and increasing self-confidence. We ask young people to volunteer to run this program for younger kids.
It provides a safe, healthy and positive environment for children to experience the physical, psychological and social benefits of team sport.
