All in for National Reconciliation Week
National Reconciliation Week provides an opportunity for all Australians to reflect on what reconciliation looks like through both cultural understanding and meaningful action.
Running from 27 May to 3 June, this year’s National Reconciliation Week theme, ‘All In’, encourages Australians to consider what it means to actively support reconciliation in everyday life, workplaces and communities.
At Vinnies WA, it serves as a reminder that reconciliation is just one week in a year, but rather is an ongoing journey that requires commitment, accountability and action across all areas of the organisation.
Through our Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), Vinnies WA is working to strengthen relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, deepen cultural understanding across the organisation and create meaningful opportunities that support long-term outcomes for communities.
During National Reconciliation Week, Vinnies WA will be highlighting stories and initiatives from across the organisation that demonstrate what being “All In” looks like in practice, through the lens of our frontline services, staff engagement and service users.
Reconciliation is about sparking important conversations, greater understanding and continued action beyond National Reconciliation Week itself.
Vinnies WA encourages staff, volunteers, supporters and the broader community to follow along throughout the week as it shares stories of learning, connection and impact across the organisation.
