From emergency assistance to innovative programs, the organisation continues to be a beacon of hope for those in need.
Key highlights from 2023/24 include:
- 49,000+ emergency calls were answered and 33,447 individuals were supported.
- $1.5 million in debts waived through financial counselling sessions, helping families regain stability.
- Housing support through 6,000 bed nights at Wandjoo Bidi and assistance for 738 tenants to avoid eviction via the Rent Relief Program.
- The contribution of 2,973 volunteers and members, who recorded over 616,000 service hours, was instrumental in driving these achievements.
Vinnies shops played a key role, generating over $21 million in revenue and preventing 2.5 million items from going to landfill, showcasing a commitment to sustainability.
