Settlement Services

We understand that settlement in a new country can be hard. We're here to help.

About Our Settlement Services

By working together, we ensure we can provide the appropriate level of support to people from all walks of life, all with their own unique needs.

At St Vincent de Paul QLD, we provide settlement services to newly arrived migrants and refugees in Queensland. We offer a wide range of settlement support to help you and your family settle into your new life.

We can connect you with resources and support services to help you with settlement and make your transition to living in Queensland as easy as possible.

What Are Settlement Services?

Settlement Services, also known as Settlement Engagement and Transition Support (SETS), helps you and your family settle into life in Australia as soon as possible after you arrive. SETS is a free service run by St Vincent de Paul QLD that operates in southwest Brisbane and is funded by the Australian Government Department of Home Affairs.

Our SETS program can give you settlement-related information, advice, advocacy, and assistance to access mainstream health, education, and employment services.
