Ozanam House Darwin

Ozanam House is a drop-in day centre located at 2 Westralia Street, Stuart Park. It is accessible by bus routes 5, 7 and 10.

Our centre provides a safe and secure place and a sense of community for those who are homeless, or at risk of homelessness.

We provide a range of homeless services Monday to Friday between 7.30 am and 12.00 pm.


At Ozanam house we serve over 200 nutritious meals a day. You can enjoy breakfast and a cooked lunch from our servery and covered outdoor eating area Monday to Friday.

Breakfast is served from 7.30 am to 9.00 am.

Lunch is served from 11 am to 12.00 pm.

We also have a self-serve coffee and tea making area open from 7.30 am to 12.00 pm.

Showers and toilet facilities

Showers are available at our centre during opening hours. When you sign in at our Reception desk you are provided with a fresh towel, soap, a shaver, toothbrush and toothpaste for use at our centre. The showers are equipped with liquid soap dispensers for washing hair.

Please make sure to return used towels to reception when you have finished your shower.

Laundry facilities

A laundry service is available during opening hours. You can leave items to be washed at our Reception desk. A time will be arranged with you for clean washing to be collected.

Day beds

You can relax and have a nap on our day beds located in our covered outdoor area at the back of the centre. We also have blankets available.


We have lockers where you can store personal items securely for up to 7 days. Enquire at our reception desk for the use of these lockers.

Phone chargers

Phone chargers are available for use during opening hours. The chargers suit most smartphones.

Support from specialist agencies

Specialist agencies provide support from our centre including health, legal and financial counselling services.

Referral to other community networks or supports

While our team are not professional counsellors they listen and help you identify any challenges, suggest ways forward and link you to other community networks or support services that may be able to assist.

Companionship and activities

At our centre we seek to foster interaction, companionship and genuine communities of friends from all walks of life. When you visit our centre, you can be as involved as much, or as little, as you like.

We have games, books, social events and programs such as arts, music, job readiness, to name a few.

Volunteering opportunities at Ozanam House

We are always looking for case workers, cooks, cleaners and anyone who is willing to lend a hand or provide a listening ear to support our homeless services at Ozanam House.
