The Vinnies Van

At the heart of our community outreach is the Vinnies Food Van – a mobile service dedicated to supporting individuals and families experiencing homelessness and hardship. Operating Monday to Friday, our passionate team of Members, Volunteers and Staff travel across key locations to serve freshly cooked (By our Ozanam House Chef) nutritious meals to those in need.

More than just a hot meal, the Vinnies Food Van offers a warm smile, a listening ear, and a reminder that no one is forgotten. For many of our visitors, this small act of kindness can make a big difference – providing not only physical nourishment but emotional support and dignity during incredibly tough times.

The need in our community is real and growing. Every day, we meet people facing unexpected challenges – job loss, housing insecurity, or personal crisis – who simply need a hand up. Through the Vinnies Van, we respond with compassion, consistency, and care.
