Single males and females over 18 years of age, currently experiencing homelessness or are at risk of homelessness may apply. Individuals can nominate themselves or be referred to us by a support agency.
Stuart Park & Coconut Grove Northern Territory
Buildings have a fully equipped communal kitchen and dining area, bathroom, showers and toilets, with some buildings providing covered outdoor seating areas. There are covered common areas with tables, lounges, a TV, a games area for use by all residents. There is also carparking available.
Vinnies rooms offer a personal safe space, with a single bed with linen, table and chair, cupboard and a small fridge.
Vinnies Case Workers work with clients to develop personal goals and pathways to achieve them.
Residents develop skills and the experience of sharing a home and being a good neighbour. Residents participate in a weekly roster for the cleaning of the communal areas. All are required to abide by the house rules set out in a signed agreement with us – pay rent on time, respect others and care for the property.
Applicants may be a single person, a couple or family with a maximum of two people per room in our two-bedroom units.

Coconut Grove Northern Territory
Vinnies units vary in size and shape, each with their own kitchen and dining area, bathroom, shower, toilet and outdoor area or balcony. Vinnies units do not come furnished.
We do not provide active case management at our Vinnies Units. Vinnies case workers offer companions information, referrals to other supports such as health, financial, employment or legal services and give opportunities to develop skills that improve the likelihood of securing long term housing.
To develop the skills and experience of managing a home and being a good neighbour, companions are subject to regular inspections or meetings. All are required to abide by the housing rules, set out in a signed agreement with Vinnies – pay rent on time, respect others and do not cause damage to the property.
