Across Darwin we operate our Emergency Relief service from two convenient locations, Stuart Park and Palmerston. Casuarina is currently closed for Emergency Relief.
Our Services have been in high demand and we appreciate your understanding while we overcome key operational issues.

2 Westralia Street, Stuart Park
Ozanam House is most widely known as our Day Centre for those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
St Vincent de Paul Society operates an Emergency Relief service for those in need from this location.
Drop-in Emergency Relief service: WEDNESDAY 9am to 12pm.
Please bring your Identification and Proof of Income. You will be asked to take a number and wait in the reception area and our team will to assist you as best we can.
3 Rolyat Street, Palmerston
Located next door to our Vinnies Store at Palmerston, we operate our Emergency Relief service from this location on Tuesday.
Drop-in Emergency Relief service: TUESDAY 9am to 12pm.
Please bring your Identification and Proof of Income. You will be asked to take a number and wait in the reception area and our team will to assist you as best we can.
3 Bradshaw Terrace, Casuarina (Currently Closed)
This is the Head Office Location of Vinnies NT, visit come to reception on Level 2 above the Vinnies Store.
If you are unable to attend one of the above scheduled Drop-In Services please call 131812 to discuss your situation.
Some of the ways in which we can assist through the Emergency Relief service
Food |
We provide vouchers you can use at the supermarket to purchase grocery items. |
Clothing |
We provide vouchers you can use at any of our Vinnies stores to purchase clothing and household goods. |
Furniture |
We have furniture available through our Vinnies stores or warehouse to help you replace of obtain items you may need in your home. |
Utility or other household bill |
We can assist you by advocating with the utility provider on your behalf for electricity. We can also assist you paying your Telstra bill and water bill by providing a voucher. |
Crisis Housing |
While the St Vincent de Paul Society does not provide Emergency Crisis Accommodation services, we can assist you by referring you to the appropriate support service. |
Financial Counselling |
We can refer you to a specialist agency who can assist. |
Spiritual Support |
The members of the Society are there to support people when they need it most. We can arrange for a member of our Conferences to call you and provide emotional and spiritual support. |
Public transport |
We can assist you by providing concession bus tickets for public transport. |
Medical needs |
We assist you to buy medication if you are in need and unable to buy medication. We encourage you to bring the prescription issued by your health professional. |
Please note there is a limited number of Visits per person per to our Emergency Relief service.
