Youth homelessness support
What is Youth Homelessness Support?
Youth Homelessness Support supports young people who are either homeless or at risk of homelessness to find safe and secure independent living.
What services does Youth Homelessness Support provide?
Support workers connect with eligible young people to identify their needs. They can help find ways to remove barriers preventing sustainable independent housing. They do this by providing services or referring to local community organisations for:
- access to crisis accommodation
- employment services
- mental health support
- budgeting and more.
The length of support we provide depends on the individual’s needs.
Who can access Youth Homelessness Support?
To be eligible for the service you must be:
- aged 16-25
- homeless (couch surfing/sleeping rough/transitioning) or at risk of homelessness.
