20/04/2022 12:00 PMWith the Federal Election campaign now underway, the national office of the St Vincent de Paul Society has launched its priorities.
It calls on the next Federal Government to:
- increase housing options and reduce homelessness
- increase working age payments
- provide help for people seeking asylum
- provide support for our First Nations people, and
- improve work conditions
The Federal Election Statement sets out why these matter to the Society.
Anyone interested is encouraged to talk to their local candidates about what makes A Fairer Australia.
