About Our Alcohol Abuse and Drug Abuse Support Services
Our team state-wide are working with Queenslanders to provide a hand-up, not just a hand out.
At St Vincent de Paul QLD, we can help you recover from drug and/or alcohol use if you’re over 18 years old and meet certain eligibility criteria. Our services aim to provide you with the necessary assistance to cease alcohol/drug abuse, and to support you to minimise relapse. We offer both residential and mobile outreach services across Queensland.

We offer recovery services in six residential locations across Queensland.

We offer before and after residential recovery support if you live in Greater Brisbane, Mackay, Townsville, or Cairns.
About Our Residential Recovery Services
The St Vincent de Paul Society QLD team is working together to strengthen communities all across the state.
We offer recovery services in six residential locations across Queensland. At one of these centres, you will work through a 12-week structured program to help you successfully overcome Alcohol Abuse and/or Drug Abuse.
Funded by Queensland Health, our Drug and Alcohol programs give you practical life skills to help you recover and support you to prevent relapse. We’ll work with you to understand what resources and support you require and help you make positive, long-lasting changes in your life.

About Our Outreach and Continuing Care Services
The St Vincent de Paul Society QLD is a trusted place for Queenslanders to turn to for help.
We offer before and after residential recovery support if you live in Greater Brisbane, Mackay, Townsville, or Cairns. If you are transitioning into, or leaving, one of our residential recovery programs, this service will help you get back on track, or stay on track, with your recovery.
Pre-treatment support: We provide information on how to avoid harm, stay well, get ready for the detoxification process, and offer you any crisis support you need before you start one of our programs.
Post-care support: We arm you with the skills you need to live independently and re-integrate back into your community without relying on substances. We can connect you with local support groups, help you find accommodation, help you gain employment, and support you in managing your finances.

For our Queensland Alcohol Abuse and Drug Abuse Support Services, eligibility criteria varies depending on the service. Eligibility is also determined based on availability. Please contact your nearest service to discuss if you are eligible.
