Tenancies in Transitional Housing range from a minimum 6 months through to 2 years. This medium term housing is designed to provide you or your family with stable housing for a time, while you actively engage with support services in the community to develop the living skills or experience to sustain a tenancy and transition to the private rental market or other longer term housing.
Tenancies in Supported Accommodation range from a minimum 6 months through to 2 years. Supported Accommodation is more than just a roof over your head, tenants are given case management support throughout their time in this housing. Working with a Tenancy Worker you are encouraged and supported to engage with support services to address issues or gain skills that can help you sustain a tenancy in the future. This may include training to gain employment, financial counselling or health clinics.
Located in Katherine, we offer housing for single men. Ormonde House accommodates 12 tenants. The housing on offer comprises a single freshly painted, furnished room with linen and a small fridge.
Located in Katherine, we offer housing for families on a large garden block. The Bernhard Centre provides accommodation for up to 39 singles, couples or families.
