What is the service?
Our Soup Van service provides a light meal, tea or coffee and cold drinks from Monday to Friday between 5.30pm and 6.30pm. It also provides an opportunity to build friendships with people, who are experiencing homelessness or isolation.
Who can access this service?
Anyone who is experiencing homelessness, is marginalised or at risk of homelessness.
Where is this service located?
The Darwin Sunset Outreach Service (SOS van) operates weekdays from the public car park Bicentennial Park, Parliament House end.
Who benefits from this service?
This is an opportunity for volunteers to do something for the community, and understand other people’s lives, as well as to provide companionship to those who are least supported.
