Quality donations provided to your local Vinnies can be given to people in need or sold to raise funds for Vinnies vital services in the local community.
How to donate
TIP: the most important thing to remember is to donate items that are clean and in working order
- Drop off into the centre during the opening hours of your local Vinnies.
- If provided, leave in the donation bins outside of opening hours.
- Any donations left outside after hours often become unsalable due to exposure to the elements or ransacking.
What CAN you donate?
Vinnies is always in need of the following items:
- Men’s clothing
- Women’s clothing
- Children’s clothing
- Manchester
- Shoes
- Handbags
- Hats
- Accessories
- Children’s toys (complete)
- Board games (complete)
- Books
- DVDs
- Homewares
- Bric-a-brac
- Funky/Retro items
What you CAN donate to help people in need of Emergency Relief?
People find our programs with nothing, help us fill houses and make homes with:
- Beds
- Mattresses
- Tables and Chairs
- Fridges
- Washing Machines
- Couches

What CAN'T you donate?
Due to some state/territory laws and WHS restrictions we are unable to accept some items, including:
- Baby car seats, prams or cots
- Electrical items
- Damaged or broken items
