Fundraise for Australians experiencing homelessness - Vinnies CEO Sleepout

**(All Funds Raised Stay in The NT)**

The funds raised through the Vinnies CEO Sleepout will stay in the NT and ensure that St Vincent de Paul Society can be there for Territory children, families and individuals when they need support the most. The Society provides crucial support and services needed to escape homelessness for good. Donations to the Sleepout could provide countless nights of accommodation, food and basic essentials, help with living expenses, caring and personalised support, and more! Without urgent help, the cycle of homelessness may never be broken, and children could go on to face a lifetime of hardship and suffering.

With registrations now set to close Friday 10th of June for the 2022 CEO Sleepout event, we are asking TOP END COMMUNITY LEADERS to jump on board to be a part of the incredible life-changing help the CEO Sleepout helps provide!

THE EVENT

On Thursday June 23, the 2022 Northern Territory CEO Sleepout event will be hosted at the famous

Fannie Bay Gaol thanks to our Venue Sponsor Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory.

THE FACTS - Families are suffering.

More than ever, parents and children are living below the poverty line after the ravaging effects of the pandemic. In fact, more Australians will sleep unsafely tonight than ever before in recorded history.

Last year, a record-breaking $9,381,929 was raised nationally to support people facing homelessness, this year we hope to raise even more to support the 116,000 individuals and families currently at risk of, or experiencing homelessness in our country.

The economic downturn from the pandemic has knocked many people off their feet, especially the most vulnerable. Even before COVID, homelessness has continued to rise, with a 13.7% increase in the number of people experiencing homelessness since 2011.

That means there are now more families living below the poverty line, more parents are struggling to afford to put a meal on the table for their kids, more people who have lost jobs and can’t afford to pay the rent.
