There is a need to reform superannuation practices to help alleviate growing inequality in Australia.

The Society outlines that the superannuation system has deviated from its intended purpose and has become a method of wealth creation and tax avoidance.

The Society argues that there is a need for systemic change. The Society's own commissioned research indicates that modest reforms to tax, welfare, and superannuation could significantly reduce poverty in Australia.

This Society argues that this Bill is a first step towards addressing wealth disparity and fairer Australia.
