Everyone deserves a place to call home and today the doors are officially open to the 160 new residents.

Today we unlocked a better future for Victorians most in need of housing.

162 individuals and families will start moving into 92 brand-new one, two, and three-bedroom apartments in the heart of Footscray.

VincentCare Community Housing, in partnership with Homes Victoria, has completed this major new housing project as part of the Big Housing Build - setting a new standard for the quality of home everyone deserves.

“We believe everyone deserves a place to call home and stable and affordable housing is the key to a brighter future for generations to come,” said Dr Jennifer Fitzgerald AM, Group CEO, St Vincent de Paul Society Victoria.

We couldn’t be prouder to see this project open its doors. This partnership between VincentCare Community Housing and Homes Victoria demonstrates real-life outcomes for reducing homelessness in Victoria.

And thank you to Affordable Housing Solutions, LU Simon and LIFE Architects for their partnership in delivering this vital project.
