Call Centre volunteers receive and accurately record all requests for assistance which is then passed onto our local groups called conferences to enable them to carry out their work.
As a volunteer in our call centre, we require a commitment of one day per week as a minimum.
Essential skills required:
Calls to our Welfare Call Centre assist people in our community that need a hand up and provides the conduit to receive support. Our volunteers will ascertain what service is available and arrange for the local conference to respond.
Volunteers are the backbone of the St Vincent de Paul Society Victoria and come from all walks of life.
Each volunteer brings a unique set of skills, knowledge and experience and we welcome you all.
If you have compassion for helping the most vulnerable in our community, then join us in becoming a Welfare Call Centre volunteer.
