The Vinnies Distribution Centres (warehouses) are integral to supporting the operation of Vinnies Shops.
We operate two distribution centres located in Altona North and Dandenong South.
This is an amazing opportunity to become part of our team at the Altona and Dandenong Distribution Centres.
Our dedicated warehouse team plays a crucial role in sorting and processing the generous donations we receive from the public. They ensure that these goods are prepared for dispatch to our Vinnies stores, where they are sold to make a positive impact in our community.
We are actively seeking volunteers who are hard-working, reliable, physically fit and capable of undertaking safe manual handling practices to join our dynamic team. Your commitment will contribute significantly to our mission, making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.

Ever wondered what happens to your generous donations before they reach our shop floors?
Let us take you on a little journey behind the scenes.
We have two warehouses, one in Altona and one in Dandenong.
Once received all donated items are carefully inspected, one-by-one, to ensure their quality. Our dedicated team then works tirelessly to prepare each piece for its next chapter in a new home. Shirts, pants, skirts, dresses and the like are then put on coat hangers and shifted into crates. These crates will then go out to our 110+ Vinnies Shops across Victoria.
