The Good Works Society
The Good Works Society brings together people of generosity and vision who choose to support St Vincent de Paul Society Victoria (the Society) at the highest level.
Through an annual gift or a gift in their Will, members help ensure the Society can continue to deliver practical, life-changing support to people experiencing hardship across Victoria, today and into the future.

Across Victoria, more than one million people are living in poverty, many just one crisis away from homelessness. For women and children escaping violence, older women, families under pressure from the rising cost of living, and people experiencing isolation, the need is growing and becoming more complex.
The Good Works Society provides the certainty needed to turn compassion into practical, life-changing action. The commitment of The Good Works Society helps ensure people experiencing hardship across Victoria are supported both in moments of crisis and beyond; it builds the bridge to long-term stability, independence and a future defined by hope.
Members of The Good Works Society help sustain and grow the Society’s core work across:
- Housing and homelessness
- Food security and emergency relief
- Domestic and family violence support
- Education and youth programs
- Financial counselling and advocacy
- Community connection and local support
Membership begins at $5,000 per year, or by including the Society in your Will. Higher levels of support offer additional opportunities for acknowledgement and involvement.
Each member is recognised with care, respect and gratitude, reflecting the Society’s commitment to strong relationships, transparency and meaningful engagement.
