Anne & Lloyd's $28,000 gift to Vinnies

What an incredible episode of Deal or No Deal Celebrity Jackpot … and what an incredible gift to Vinnies!

Last night comedians Anne Edmonds and Lloyd Langford won $28,000 in a Celebrity Jackpot episode of Deal or No Deal, choosing to donate their good fortune to Vinnies, getting behind the Vinnies family and helping us continue to support people experiencing hardship with warm meals, financial assistance and housing support across Victoria.

We’re so incredibly grateful to Anne and Lloyd for choosing Vinnies. Your generosity will make a real difference to people and families who need a hand up.

And there’s a very special Vinnies connection behind it all.

Anne’s dad, Joe, was a Vinnies volunteer who conducted home visits to people experiencing hardship, providing practical assistance such as food and vouchers. Thank you Anne and Lloyd for continuing on his legacy and supporting Vinnies in such a generous way.

A huge thank you to fellow comedians Nath Valvo, Dave Thornton and Ben Russell, who encouraged Anne and Lloyd and kept the banter and anticipation flowing during the episode. What a team!

And thank you Maria also appeared in show and was introduced to Vinnies by her dad when she was 5, Maria has previously volunteered with Vinnies and so generously put us in her Will.
