Celebrating our good works
This Good Works Exhibition celebrates 170 years of the St Vincent de Paul Society in Australia, offering an interactive glimpse into our history and journey from 1854 to 2024.
This exhibition provided an interactive timeline with iconic moments in our history showcased through an AI experience; the stories of four inspirational people representing the breadth of our work plus iconic images from our archives.

Our stories
Throughout our 170-year history our members and volunteers have made a huge impact to the people we assist and within their local communities. Our history is rich with stories – if only we could share them all. Here are four inspirational people that represent the breadth of our work.
Voices of Hope
As part of our 170th celebrations our Mini Vinnies and College Conferences were asked "What does the future look like to you". The result were an amazing array of posters created by the students. Here are just some of the selection.
