Make a difference in your community by joining a local St Vincent de Paul Society group, known as a ‘conference’. A Young Vinnies conference is a self-run group of young volunteers, often from the same local area, who meet regularly to plan community outreach programs.

These are dynamic groups with a clear aim to help make the world a better place. Our Young Vinnies run activity days for kids (Kids Days Out and Teens Days Out), assist on the Vinnies Soup Vans, conduct home visits, tutor in the education programs, run and participate in many other works of social justice, as well as social events.

Most Young Vinnies Conferences meet once a month.

Conferences are based in the following locations throughout metropolitan Melbourne and Regional Victoria.

  • Aquinas Young Vinnies (ACU Ballarat)
  • Casey Young Vinnies
