Vinnies VIC: Our Education programs provide a friendly learning environment in which students can improve their learning skills and increase their confidence in interacting with adult volunteers and peers.

<h3>Want to become a volunteer?</h3>
<h4>Our Education programs operate in Dandenong, Heidelberg West and Noble Park and create learning spaces that are safe.</h4>
<p>Our coordinators and trained volunteers create friendly educational environments that aim to improve the learning skills and confidence of students, encourage collaboration, promote social inclusion and showcase best practice for out of school hours learning.</p>
<p>Students say that the tutoring support they receive in our programs have helped them to:</p>
<ul>
<li>Improve their academic results,</li>
<li>Increase social and academic confidence,</li>
<li>Form better friendships,</li>
<li>Expand social involvement.</li>
</ul>

<p>Our volunteer tutors are from all walks of life – retired educational personnel, tertiary students looking for work experience, young professionals wanting to make a difference and previous program participants who now want to give back. Volunteers for our Education program are always welcome.</p>
