Recycle Rewards is a container refund scheme where Tasmanians can recycle eligible drink containers for a 10 cent refund. It increases recycle rates, reduces litter and gives back to the community!

Spreyton Depot
Our depot is the best place to drop off your eligible drink containers. You can drive straight up to the door, and our friendly team will quickly sort and process your items. You can then receive your 10-cent per item reward, or choose to donate it to Vinnies!
Reverse Vending Machine
Our Reverse Vending Machine is a great way to recycle your drink containers yourself. You can also donate to Vinnies while you do it!

How does it work?
Across Tasmania there are now Recycle Rewards depots, where you can go and donate your eligible drink containers. Each donation is worth 10 cents, and you can choose to donate that 10 cents to a charity of your choice, including the St Vincent de Paul Society!

Get started by registering for your free Recycle Rewards and start donating to Vinnies:
- Download the Recycle Rewards app on your phone.
- Create an account.
- Click on “Charities” in the app.
- Search for Vinnies and select “Set as payout”.
- Scan your barcode and start recycling to help us raise funds for struggling Tasmanians!
There are 49 depots across the state, and you can find the closest one to you through their interactive map!
Where does your donation go?
Your donation goes straight to helping Vinnies provide emergency relief to struggling Tasmanians. That’s things like stocking our pantries and food vans, providing financial relief to those facing homelessness, keeping our homeless relief shelters open, providing youth programs and keeping all our other services running. Every donation helps us continue our good work.

No, all gifts must be unwrapped.
Unfortunately, we can only accept new gifts due to safety reasons.
