Lead with Purpose: Become the Operations Manager at Vinnies Women’s Crisis Centre
As the Operations Manager of the Vinnies Women’s Crisis Centre (VWCC), you will play a key leadership role in delivering compassionate, high-quality crisis accommodation and support services to women and children experiencing domestic violence, family violence, sexual violence, or homelessness. This role combines operational management with a deep commitment to trauma-informed care, ensuring safety, dignity, and a pathway to recovery for all clients.
Your leadership will foster a positive and supportive team culture, drive continuous service improvement, and ensure the Centre operates efficiently and in full compliance with regulations. Additionally, you will be responsible for financial management, resource allocation, and risk compliance, maintaining the Centre as a trusted place of refuge and hope for women in crisis.
The VWCC is a 20-room facility that operates 24/7, providing a unique crisis intervention model that combines accommodation with comprehensive wraparound services. The Centre offers a safe, supportive, and child-friendly environment, where women can receive all meals, have access to serviced rooms, laundry, and other services.

Hawthorn Vinnies Store is seeking a passionate and skilled Retail Shop Manager who thrives in a purpose-driven retail environment. You’ll lead a dedicated team of volunteers and staff, driving growth and delivering an inspiring in-store experience for customers and the community.
In this role, you will oversee all aspects of shop operations, including team leadership, inventory management, visual merchandising, financial performance, and compliance with organisational policies. Your leadership will directly contribute to funding the Society’s vital programs supporting those experiencing disadvantage.

Lead with Compassion: Coordinate Support for Refugees & Asylum Seekers
The Refugee & Asylum Seeker Service Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations of the Vinnies Refugee and Asylum Seeker Service (VRASS). This hands-on, purpose-driven role supports a team of volunteers and ensures the delivery of compassionate, timely, and practical assistance to people seeking support in our community.
The Coordinator works closely with volunteers, internal teams, and partner organisations to provide high-quality, person-centred support across a range of services, while ensuring the safe and effective operation of the drop-in centre.
