Community Services Workers - Vinnies Women's Crisis Centre
Multiple Positions Available - 3 X Casual and 2 X Permanent Part Time
Make a meaningful impact by supporting women and children experiencing crisis
The St Vincent de Paul Society SA (Vinnies) is seeking compassionate and committed Community Services Workers to join the team at the Vinnies Women’s Crisis Centre. This service provides short-term accommodation and support to single women and women with children (and their pets) who are at risk of, or experiencing, domestic and family violence and homelessness.
As a Community Services Worker, you will provide frontline guest support and essential administrative services at our short-term accommodation centre for single women and women with children (and their pets) who are at risk of or are experiencing domestic and family violence and homelessness.
You will engage directly with guests, manage check-in and check-out processes, maintain accurate records, and contribute to a safe, respectful, and trauma-informed environment. In partnership with the case workers providing support to the women, and with external agencies, you will contribute to delivering comprehensive, wrap-around assistance.
This is a values-driven role in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where compassion, professionalism, and teamwork are essential.
