Vinnies Services Volunteering
Volunteering with any of our Vinnies Services, offers a variety of opportunities to suit a whole range of diverse skills.
By volunteering, you will be making a difference for those in need. For some Vinnies volunteers, this is a chance to give something back to the community, to use their skills and experience to make a difference in the lives of people who need assistance the most. For others, it is a chance to develop new skills and experience in a supportive environment.

Disaster Volunteering
Volunteering with the St Vincent de Paul's CARE Team offers a unique opportunity to support communities during times of disaster and crisis.
CARE Team volunteers are trained and equipped to provide practical assistance, connection and compassionate support in recovery settings such as Recovery Centres and community locations.
When communities are impacted, CARE Team members are called upon to step in, offering a calm, supportive presence when it matters most.
By joining the CARE Team, you’ll be part of a trusted organisation, supported by a statewide network, and prepared to make a meaningful difference when people need it most.

We need volunteers to help operate our sites, and this could be you! You’ll learn new skills, work in a positive environment, and make a difference to those in the community who need it most.

Youth Volunteering
Volunteering with our Youth at Vinnies is a fantastic way to expand your skills and experience, increase your employability and stay engaged within the community by volunteering in our Buddies Days / Teen days and our Green Teams Program.
Youth Volunteering is also a way for you to give back and help people who need a hand. The generosity of your time can help us support people doing it tough in your local community and we know first-hand that helping others feels good, and helps you feel good about yourself!
“I enjoy helping people and reaching out to the community.”
