Lyone Foundation

The Lyone Foundation is the philanthropic arm of COS and has a longstanding partnership with St Vincent de Paul Society NSW. Through its support of Vinnies Van Services in Sydney, the Lyone Foundation helps Vinnies provide food, essential items, practical assistance and connection to people experiencing homelessness and disadvantage.

The partnership also provides opportunities for COS employees to engage directly with Vinnies through volunteering. COS teams regularly assist by preparing snack packs and sandwiches for Vinnies Van Services, providing practical support to help our services meet the needs of people experiencing homelessness.

The relationship between Vinnies and the Lyone Foundation is also deeply connected to the Lyone family. The late Dominique Lyone, founder of COS, had a strong personal connection to Vinnies. His daughters, Belinda and Amie, Co-CEOs of COS, together with Dominique’s wife Mara, continue to champion and support the work of Vinnies.
