WGEA Statement 2026

CEO Statement for Workplace Gender Equality Agency

‘The Society NSW is committed to promoting gender equality and ensuring fair remuneration for all our employees. Our focus on fairness and equity has allowed us to further reduce the gender pay gap across the organisation and in our 2024 / 25 report; the average total remuneration gender pay gap has decreased to -0.2% in favour of women, down from 1.7% the previous year. Our median total remuneration gender pay gap is -11.3% in favour of women. Our analysis shows some gaps exist when looked at by occupational group and this requires further investigation to monitor and take appropriate action to close the gaps.

‘The Society continues to regularly review its policies and practices to see how we can strengthen our support for gender equality and inclusion including through our recruitment practices, career development opportunities, and flexible work and leave options for all genders.  These efforts align with the Society’s mission to foster fairness and equity for our employees and the people we assist.’
