Roundtable on the Social Cohesion Statement

The St Vincent de Paul Society National Council of Australia highlights its commitment to aiding individuals regardless of citizenship status or background.

The submission stresses the importance of culturally appropriate support networks, particularly for First Nations people.

The Society commends the integration of Australia’s international obligations and human rights references into the Social Cohesion Statement.

The Society supports the principles of fairness and inclusivity in shaping a more equitable society and urges the Government to uphold Australia’s international human rights obligations.
