Melton Education Program

The Melton Education Program is a free educational service focusing on literacy's four pillars – reading, writing, speaking and listening.

The program commenced in 2021 and runs every Wednesday during school term.

The program supports primary school students of all linguistic and cultural backgrounds residing in the local area.

Who can access the Melton Education Program?

All students (Prep to Grade 6) in primary schools around the area are welcome to join the Melton Education Program. We welcome all young people into our programs. We work with a range of students from various backgrounds, cultures and learning needs.

Where is the service located?

Melton Central Community Centre

239 Station Road, Melton 

When is the program taking place?

Each Wednesday during the school term

3:30pm – 4:45pm (Students)

3:00pm – 5:00pm (Volunteers)

What do students bring to the program?

Please bring your water bottle.

Students don’t need to bring reading materials; all resources will be provided.
