Maidstone Education Program

The Maidstone Education Program is a free educational service focusing on literacy's four pillars – reading, writing, speaking and listening.

The program commenced in 2019 and runs every Thursday during school term.

The program supports primary school students of all linguistic and cultural backgrounds residing in the local area.

Who can access the Melton Education Program?

All students (Prep to Grade 6) in primary schools around the area are welcome to join the Maidstone Education Program. We welcome all young people into our programs. We work with a range of students from various backgrounds, cultures and learning needs.

The Maidstone Community Centre

When is the program taking place?

Each Thursday during the school term

3:30pm – 4:45pm (Students)

3:00pm – 5:00pm (Volunteers)

What do students bring to the program?

Please bring your water bottle.

Students don’t need to bring reading materials; all resources will be provided.
