What is Edel Quinn?
Edel Quinn provides crisis accommodation and case management services primarily for men who are experiencing homelessness in the Wagga Wagga region. We do this through a residential program and an outreach support program. Our aim is to work together with men at risk of homelessness and with other services to find stable accommodation and attach people to the community supports they need.
Our crisis accommodation program accepts referrals, assesses client needs, referrals where necessary, and provides accommodation, meals, and case management to help people into appropriate long term housing. Our outreach service provides support for people living in the community independently. We also provide vocational training and self-development opportunities through programs such as Back On Track and our soon to be opened Ozanam Learning Centre.
Who can access the Edel Quinn service?
Our hostel accommodation caters for men who are over 18, at risk of homelessness and eligible for case management. Our other community-based services, learning programs and activities with partner agencies can be accessed by a broader group of people.
Where is the service located?
We are currently undergoing a major building refurbishment in Edel Quinn Lane, Wagga Wagga NSW. We are still running our services through temporary locations in Wagga Wagga. Please contact us for details.
Who benefits from the Edel Quinn service?
Most of the people benefitting from the Edel Quinn services are from the Wagga Wagga District, however, we also support people who come to the region from other areas.
