About us

Rosalie House is a drug health day program that sits under the governance of Vinnies Services and is a non-residential community based drug and alcohol rehabilitation program for people in the Tamworth region. Rosalie House is committed to providing high quality, innovative and flexible treatment responses underpinned by evidence based practice, client centred case management and trauma informed practice. Rosalie House facilitate the Catalyst Program.

Services Offered

The core program at Rosalie House is based on the Uniting Care Re-Gen Catalyst Model. Catalyst Program is a structured non-residential AOD rehabilitation program incorporating a range of activities, including group work, individual case management, recreation and social activities. The aim is to help people develop coping skills and maintain motivation to change their substance use behaviour. This is then continued with after care support of up to 12 months if needed. The program is a 12 week program and is divided into two parts, Group work and Case Management.

Group Work

Catalyst is mostly made up of group sessions that occur throughout the day from Monday to Friday. The groups run for 6 weeks commencing at approx 10am till 1pm however times can vary. The therapeutic groups are aimed at exploring individual feelings, providing psycho-social education, assisting the development of personal living skills and encouraging self reflection. These may include but are not limited to; interpersonal effectiveness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, harm minimisation, relapse prevention, nutrition, and cognitive behavioural therapy.

Case Management

Your case worker and other staff will assist you with your recovery for the duration of your engagement. Following the completion of the group sessions you will be required to attend 6 individual case management sessions. These sessions occur once a week and will assist with developing a case plan outlining goals for you to work towards.
