Vinnies NSW Launches Largest Retail Store With Drive Up Donation Offering
New Auburn Outlet Set To Deliver Thousands of Pre-Loved Bargains
Vinnies NSW is opening the doors to its newest outlet store in Auburn on Saturday 31 October, providing bargain hunters access to thousands of heavily discounted pre-loved goods across a 1,000-square-metre retail space.
The opening comes as more Australians embrace pre-loved shopping as a way to find quality items, unique treasures and great value, with affordable options increasingly appealing to shoppers looking to make their money go further.
The new Auburn outlet will mark Vinnies NSW’s largest retail store, offering shoppers an extensive range of women’s and men’s clothing, accessories, homewares, leisure and more, with everything $10 or under, excluding furniture and electrical items. The store will also feature a broad selection of furniture, including office desks and tables, dining tables and chairs, lounges, occasional chairs, cabinets, shelving and other larger household furniture pieces, as well as a growing range of household electrical items.
Making it easy for the community to give pre-loved items a second life, the Auburn outlet will also offer a convenient drive-up donation option, allowing people to drop off quality goods they no longer need without having to leave their car.
Designed for shoppers who love the thrill of the op shop hunt, the warehouse-style store will feature high volumes of affordable pre-loved goods, with bundled offers and promotions across selected categories.
Gemma Presley, Retail Experience & Brand Manager, Vinnies NSW, comments: “Whether shoppers are searching for a new wardrobe staple, something for the home or an unexpected op-shop treasure, Auburn will offer plenty to discover. We know many families are looking for affordable ways to shop, and this store makes quality pre-loved items accessible at prices that work for everyone.”
The Auburn outlet is the latest addition to Vinnies NSW’s growing network of outlet stores, following the launch of stores in Surry Hills in December 2025 and South Nowra in January 2026.
The outlet model provides high-volume, low-priced pre-loved items an opportunity to find a new home, helping extend the life of donated goods and keep usable items in circulation for longer.
Across its first two outlet stores, Vinnies NSW has already sold close to 54,000 items, demonstrating the appetite for affordable pre-loved shopping while helping divert goods from landfill.
The growth of Vinnies’ outlet stores comes as Australians continue to buy and dispose of clothing at high volumes. Last financial year, Vinnies NSW received and sorted 3.7 million kilograms of donated textiles and sold 10.7 million units across the state.
With donations arriving every week, Vinnies NSW has introduced a range of store formats to help manage this volume while making pre-loved shopping accessible to more people.
And every purchase at Vinnies helps make a difference beyond the shop floor. Last financial year, Vinnies NSW’s 220 shops and six distribution centres raised more than $90 million, which was reinvested into services and programs supporting people experiencing hardship, including food, clothing, housing support and financial assistance.
With plenty of bargains to uncover and new stock arriving regularly, Vinnies Auburn is set to become a destination for shoppers looking for affordable fashion, homewares and one-of-a-kind pre-loved finds.
